We've got off to a sizzling summer start here at M.Y.O with the popular Mexican street food chain, Wahaca.
Last week we headed over to Mudchute, on the Isle of Dogs in London for Wahaca's staff summer party where we gave a drop-in session creating painted Mexican tiles. Check out some of the fab creations from the day.....
Founded in 2006 by Thomasina Miers, OBE and Mark Selby, Wahaca opened it's first restaurant in Covent Garden, London in 2007 and by 2011 it expanded to mobile kitchens too. With a huge team behind the brand, their staff get together could be nothing short of unique with 600 guests. We were therefore so pleased to be asked to host a creative workshop to get the staff creating, having some fun and discovering their flair!
After Wahaca got in touch asking us what ideas we may have that is on-brand and could help their staff get creative and re-connect, we opted for using acrylic pens to add colour to tiles and would ensure our creative hosts guided the guests in putting together their own original designs.
We think you will agree that the results were beautiful.
We love hosting creative, inspiring events for companies that bring people together and get staff to reconnect with each other; the resulting happy smiles make it so worthwhile! If you would like to book a company workshop please contact Hannah our Partnerships Manager on GetCreative@MYO.Place. Your company may thank you for it!
